PATHWAYS TO PROGRESS

A cooperation project with C4C, Alternatives and FEDO has started!! Project is a "Pathways to Progress" pilot which will help to develop future projects but still is fully functioning independent project.

Project has been divided into three separate sections: three months, three months and six months. Project is aimed for young people who have least opportunities in their lives and who are unemployed. First priority have youngsters from dalit or minority communities, but our projects are inclusive for all the casts and gender. C4C works always in cooperation with Nepalese organizations and NGOs and these partners have opportunity and responsibility to select the participant.

Now first three month projects has started in Kathmandu and Pokhara, and will also start after two weeks in Gyampesal at Gorkha district. Kathmandu and Gyampesal project will have first three months only English lessons.

Pokhara project differs from other two in a way that in the first three month period alongside with English lessons there will be workshops organized by partners. C4C is a leading partner and will run six workshops and last day, FEDO will run two workshops and Alternatives four. Project started 16th of December and will last for 12 weeks. Alternatives and FEDO both selected 8 participants and these 16 participant are 20 - 29 years old women and men.

We would like to thank to the partners for all the hard work we have done together!! Future looks bright and we are looking forward to the next workshops and future with these participants and participants to come!!
