C4C Pilot on the way to lovely hill

One third out of twelve weeks has been gone now from our Pokhara pilot project: many many English lessons early in the morning led by Prem Kunwar from Cosmic Brontosaurus Language Shool.

If you travel to Pokhara and want to learn Nepali language, Prem doesn´t only teach English for Nepali people but Nepali and Hindi for us who doesn´t speak those language. He just knows how to make people to be exited about languages and their own skills. Inspirational teacher. Thank you Prem Guru-Ji!! Excellent work!!!

We have also had so far two workshops led by Alternatives Nepal. Workshops has been linking very well to the outdoor education theme, even so much Samundra, Santosh and Shiva has been using some of the methods I was planning to have on our next workshops. Looks like cooperation is working like a dream!!

Partnership between C4C and Alternatives is new but already these couple of workshops have proven the partnership fruitful and valuable. Subjects of the workshops has been creativity, entrepreneurship and power of observation in a continuum so that everything goes well together with each other supporting the main idea which is for my knowledge to make participants to recognize their own potential in finding work or crating own business.

One workshop was led by FEDO and subject was their strength: gender issues, which are playing much bigger role here in Nepal than it is playing in Europe. And I don´t want to minimize  any gender related problems in Europe, just refer to my own observations and what I have learned by participating FEDOs work. We live in the same world in different worlds.

We, C4C,  have done two workshops about outdoor education and next two will be within couple of days... we are on our way to lovely hill to find out things about environmental education and sustainability.... I am excited and looking forward to work with the inspiring Pokhara group!
